To day I send 2 hours on the dyno to test 2 mods that I did in 2011.

Normaly I always do a dyno session after any power mod but since last year I was plaged with the ECU pulling timing and not knowing it untill I blew the tranny on the drag strip.

The flywheel was badly cracked, which we think it was affecting the knock sensor to not be happy thus pulling timing !
It was difficult to have much of any consistense pull after pull but since the flywheel got replaced, I do not have any problem with that !

Soo today was to confirm 2 mods
1= HR vs VHR intake manifold
Posted Image
-

2= Throttle Body OEM stock @ 60mm VS bored at 62.5mm
The AFR were ajusted before the recording pull.

So I guess you gonna go ahead with your dual 70mm TBs project :) Looks like you'll able to get +10-15whp (and maybe more). Congrats man! :)

btw, are you gonna stay with the HR intake manifold or come back with the VHR? The HR one seems better for track purpose right? Bcause you gonna have power sooner when you exit curves...

yup I will put back the HR intake manifold because right now the VHR is on and Im not interessted to retune the Idle/cruising zone another time.
the AFR is boucing up and down like crazy !

I estimate the ECU to have been flashed around 300 times now !

The plan for the twin DE thorttle body is going to be a summer late project .....
my budget is very very limited with my new current situation and it wouldnt be wize to move forward in my plan to quickly

I always been over-estimating my possible gain ,, so if I can get the 10 whp more I will be happy but im hopping for a 15+ whp ! :)

sure Update from today !!

I came back from another exercice 2 days ago , so yesterday I started by removing my exhaust to fix both core since they were losse inside and not being aligned properly

then I swaped my Now really blown 3.9 Diff for the one I bought not long ago which is now a 3.5xx gear.
today I re-installed back my HR intake manifold :)
during the install I decided to look how much oil was inside of my oil catch can !!

Let me tell you it was pretty much full !!!!
No wonder I was seeing smoke under vaccum at high RPM !!
the catch can is about 2 '' wide and 7'' tall

tomorrow will be a nice day and I might ending up to tune the car in the idle aera , I had a idle problem for a while and never had the chance to do anything about it...
